I dabbled in jewellery making when I was a child but it wasn’t until about 2007 I started really getting into it. My husband and a few friends persuaded me to try selling online and also at a few craft fayres, and this was when I truly found my love for it. The pebble pictures came a bit later when my step daughter got a rock polisher for Christmas. I became fascinated by the colours and wondered if I could make the pebbles into jewellery. One day when looking at the polished pebbles they started to form shapes and look like birds and people so with that in mind I created my first pebble picture. Not thinking people would be that interested in it I posted a photo on line, it got lots of comments and people asking me to make them one. TomCat Pebble Pictures was born. The process to polish the pebbles takes just over a month but it is worth it to see all the colours and patterns form in each pebble.

I am always looking for new mediums to create my crafts with and over the last few years I started laser engraving wood, drawing on my graphical tablet, creating badges and photography.

My latest venture is writing and illustrating children's books having just published my second title.

My aim is always to create unique, unusual items with love.
